Is it real steam?
No. Brushes like this are sold as steam brushes, but the mist is room-temperature water from a small tank. There is no heat, which is the point: it is safe on fur and skin.
Will my cat like the mist?
Many cats settle into it within a session or two. Start with the mist off, just the silicone teeth, then add a short burst once they relax. If your cat dislikes water, keep using it dry.
How do I clean it?
Pull the fur off the teeth after each session and wipe the brush head. Empty the water tank if you will not use it for a few days.
