Will the suction cups actually stay on the window?
On clean, smooth glass, yes. Wipe the glass and the cups first, press each cup down firmly until the air is out, and give them a quick press once a week. It will not grip textured, frosted or divided glass.
How much weight does the window perch hold?
The maker does not publish a tested weight limit, so we will not invent one. It is a stainless steel frame on four 85 mm suction cups and suits an average adult cat. If yours is a large cat, write to us before ordering and we will tell you honestly whether it is the right pick.
What size window do I need?
A flat pane of smooth glass at least as wide as the bed, which is 20 in (52 cm), with clear glass above it for the two brackets. It also works on glass doors.
Is it safe to use in a rental?
Yes. Nothing is drilled or glued. It comes off the glass without a mark and goes with you when you move.
How do I clean it?
Wipe the mesh bed with a damp cloth. Rinse the suction cups in warm water now and then to keep them soft and grippy.
